I'm autistic and I particularly appreciated how clearly Rose explained the treatment, the order that things would happen in, and how she checked in a couple of times about pressure. My wife and I wanted to sneak off for a few days to celebrate a birthday and decided to give the Swan Valley a whirl. After a short 35 minute drive, we found ourselves in the sanctuary of the Swan Vally Retreat, a beautifully created property right in the heart of the Swan Valley action. The condition and quality of the room, the staff and the amenities were truly fabulous and we had a relaxing few days (and nights) using the Swan Vallet Retreat as a base whilst we explored the valley itself. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for -even offering us a bottle of local wine to celebrate our anniversary. Every detail has been thoughtfully created and the beautiful surroundings, incredible amenities and peaceful atmosphere made it so easy to switch off from the world and simply enjoy every moment. The spa treatments were an added touch that felt personal and truly left us feeling completely refreshed and relaxed There truly wasn't a single thing we could fault. Any questions we had were answered straight away, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. The views were absolutely beautiful and made the whole experience even more special. Loved having the use of the cabin for refreshments after the treatment. The treatments were incredibly relaxing and the whole setting is just beautiful. The service was honestly above and beyond. I accidentally dropped my diamond pendant through the wooden floorboards outside and the staff actually removed the boards to find it for me. The surroundings for our cheese and scones platter is beautiful, a great way to end the treatment. The massage therapist are beyond lovely, the retreat has a relaxed calm feel. Hands of an angel. I came away feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated. Lunch was delicious, sat in a garden cabin overlooking the manicured garden, watching the sheep and alpaca graze by the water. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, which immediately helps you relax and unwind. The couples massage was excellent — calming, professional, and exactly what we needed after a busy few days celebrating. A real highlight was being able to spend around 15 quiet minutes afterwards enjoying cake and coffee while taking in the view. It felt unhurried, thoughtful, and a lovely way to extend the experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, and everything felt very personal and well cared for. Annette Roberts151 days agoIt was truly a lovely place...view of paddock from room and patio very pretty..was lovely watching the sheep grazing. Room was lovely, immaculate, clean and smelt Devine. Would suggest, especially someone like myself who was a solo visitor..that non slip mats are provided for those that need for the Big bath and the Spa..was too worried if slipping to use outside Spa. Was only staying one night and am sure if I asked staff they would have provided mats. The Resort is obviously on the approaching flight path for the Airports and found it to be very noisy and frequent..but that's Life..not the fault of the Retreat owners. I would Happily go back for another, but longer vist Every staff member I met was Friendly, Helpful and Very Nice. 👍🌻🤗Posted on Google

The staff were super helpful. It’s such a fun sport to play together and we both left with big smiles. My husband and I do got a couples massage by two therapists that were able to provide what each of us wanted (one wanted therapeutic and the other wanted relaxation). Then we continued into the Oasis experience which is truly outstanding and unique- private use of a space that includes a hot tub, cold plunge, Sauna, shower, bathroom and seating area complete with cold water and charcuterie. We had a fabulous lunch at a near by winery, checked in to the Merlot cabin, had a couples massage to truly unwind and sat out and watched the sunset with a local bottle of wine. Finished off the night with a spa and enjoyed a delivered-to-the-door generous breakfast platter the next morning. Also used the sauna before a quick refresh before checkout. The lady who greeted us was so friendly and helpful. She was really hospitable and we enjoyed the platter of food and drinks with our oasis booking. Such well maintained facilities and felt like an escape from daily life out in the middle of nowhere. Will 1000% be returning and have already recommended to all of our friends. Her massage was absolutely amazing perfect pressure, beautiful technique, and her etiquette and professionalism was so good, I was genuinely so impressed! What a gem of a staff member you have. The entire spa experience was just 5-star beautiful, clean, relaxing… and the views are unreal. The package with drinks and the platter afterwards was such a perfect touch. BvB Equestrian202 days agoI have just spend a wonderful one night stay in the 'Cabernet' room with a girlfriend- we both needed a relaxing reset where we could catch up, breathe and treat ourselves. It did not disappoint. The room was beautiful, the view was gorgeous and all in such a peaceful setting. Everything was so well thought out- from simple things like a water station (still and sparkling) with an ice machine, a decked area outside our room with a outdoor blind to give shade and bug protection to the classy interior decoration and design that felt so luxurious. We felt relaxed and spoilt before we even had our spa treatment, which was wonderful. We each had a full body massage and the signature organic facial which were both blissful. We were made to feel truly valued customers and the owners and their fantastic staff ensured that our stay was excellent. My experience was wonderful from my warm welcome at reception, to the delightful ambiance of the treatment room. Afterwards was taken to the cabin area which I didn't realise was part of the service to cake , coffee or a range of herbal tea,s overlooking farm animals, grass ,trees as well as a large pond . Tay245 days agoAmazing little retreat not far away from the city. Booked the Cabernet room. It has a bathtub in the bathroom, outdoor jacuzzi, and a little barrel sauna. The bathroom shower even has body jets. Also big outdoor space, fenced area for some lambs and alpacas. Though the alpacas are friendly they're a bit shy. Or maybe I just look scary. The breakfast platter is slightly underwhelming. Large portion yes. Lots of variety yes. But hot foods (pancake, wraps) mixed together with cold ones (yoghurt, fruit). Scones are a cold too. Filled the tummy to the brim nonetheless. Quite some distance away from city lights, try some night photography if you want. Highly recommended.+12Posted on Google

What a place to finish our wonderful trip. Peace and tranquility in the most beautiful setting, fabulous accommodation, top hospitality and therapy treatments if you wish, before returning to the working world. Located in Swan Valley, you will be delighted with your treatment, from couples, pregnancy & oldies like me, who received a wonderful gift voucher for her 61st birthday. I’ve never experienced the attention to detail, a tank that does a body mask/scrub/steam/rinse. Then heavenly massage and facial. Property is a must see too. Located in a tranquil area, the resort offers an idyllic setting with a picturesque pond in front of the chalets, home to charming alpacas and sheep. We chose to stay at The Wine Barrel, the most prestigious accommodation, and it was well worth the investment. The journey from the reception to the chalet, about 60-70 meters, is made by golf cart, enhancing the sense of exclusivity. Along the way, you encounter an elegant barrel sauna with a view of the pond, providing a perfect prelude to the comfort of the chalet. The entrance to The Wine Barrel welcomes guests with a comfortable sofa and a stunning wooden hot tub, also overlooking the pond. The chalet's architecture, with its impressive high wooden arch, creates a sense of spaciousness and warmth. The motorized technology for the curtains ensures privacy and convenience. Upon arrival, we found a welcome bottle and a cheese platter in the refrigerator. We suggest enhancing the presentation, perhaps by placing the bottle in an ice bucket and presenting the cheeses without plastic, for a more refined touch. A more upscale selection of crackers would also be desirable. The room is large, with an extremely comfortable bed and a 60-inch TV already set up with Netflix, a detail we greatly appreciated. The kitchenette is functional for making coffee or tea, although some options are not included in the price. The bathroom, spacious and luxurious, features double sinks, a bathtub with a TV in front, and a long, well-equipped shower. Small improvements like adding two headrests in the bathtub could further elevate the experience. Breakfasts, abundant and included in the stay, offer a sweet option. However, the plastic used to cover the dishes could be avoided. One idea might be to create a dedicated breakfast area with a lake view for a more relaxing and less self-service experience. Regarding privacy, a system of external boxes for the delivery of breakfasts and towels could be useful, avoiding intrusions and ensuring discretion. Despite some suggestions for improvement, our experience was very positive. We highly recommend The Swan Valley Retreat for a romantic getaway or a rejuvenating break. Kellie Emmins333 days agoWe booked the two-and-a-half-hour Ladies Package, which included a full body massage and a 30-minute facial — and from start to finish, it was fantastic. The therapists were professional and really knew what they were doing. The pressure was perfect, and the oils and scents they used were divine. After our treatments, we enjoyed an hour of grazing and champagne overlooking the beautiful property. It was the perfect way to unwind — so peaceful and relaxing. The cabana area was beautifully set up with air conditioning, tea, coffee, and a calm, tranquil atmosphere. Everything was thoughtfully done, and it truly felt like a luxury escape.
